at Wiggins Village Apartments in Providence, Rhode Island. This is Longwood’s first uniformed security services account outside of Massachusetts since the company’s inception in 1986.Longwood Security Services was asked to submit a bid for a security services contract at the Wiggins Village Apartments as a result of the relationship Longwood and Winn Residential have cultivated over the past 10 years. Currently, Longwood is providing security services to numerous Winn Residential properties within Greater Boston. The Wiggins Village Account will be serviced by the Community Service Division and will consist of 4 -5 full time officers. The staffing patrol will be a combination of foot patrols and bike patrols. All patrols will use a community policing philosophy and the goal will be to meet and greet the residents of the community while enhancing the standard of living for all.
