Video: Castle Square’s Night Out by Officer Rafael Gonzalez

Officer Rafael Gonzalez taped the sights and sounds of Castle Square’s Night Out, giving you a first-person perspective of the music, cook-out and various activities. Thank you Officer Rafael Gonzalez for showcasing community building in such a fun way. 

The City of Boston choose Castle Square as the host site for the South End neighborhood’s National Night Out™, a community celebration featuring music, a cook-out and activities for children.  Mayor Marty Walsh and Commissioner William B. Evans joined the festiivites, now in its 20th year. 

National Night Out™ is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Neighbors participate across thousands of communities from all 50 states, United States territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide.
